其實想寫這個系列一段日子, 不過一直找不到機會, 直至這段日子Whitney, Mariah同Madonna都會出碟, 不如就寫寫我最喜愛的十大, wordy之前寫過一人十首歌, 我這個有點類似, 但wordy的加了很多artist的biography, 我就太懶了 =P
Whitney剛剛出碟, 早幾天才寫過碟評, 就先寫她的十大.
10. Didn't We Almost Have It All (1987)
動人情歌, 非常喜歡chorus的一部份, 唯一要彈的是過火了一點, 長了一點.
9. Step By Step (Remix) (1996)
沒有看preacher's wife, 喜歡chorus中的step by step, bit by bit, stone by stone, brick by brick, annie lennox作曲再加分, 唱background又再加分. 但個人喜歡soundtrack最後的remix, beat重一點, 勁一點.
8. I Learned From The Best - 1998
典型Whitney情歌, 歌詞寫得好, 一切都流暢...依家都經常會聽.
7. Heartbreak Hotel - 1998
這是她第一首歌真真正正脫離adult comtemprary的歌, 很hip很型很cool, 依家聽仍覺得很update, 巨肺的部份留給kelly price負責, 是代表她當年已經做不了巨肺?
6. I Will Always Love You (1992)
這首歌無人不曉, 但護花傾情有多少人看過呢? 當年10多歲看沒有甚麼感覺, 依家再看, 一個字 - 爛. 但偏偏全球票房4億美金. 片爛, 歌都播到爛, 當時還常常學whitney腔嗌.基本上這首歌沒有任何挑剔之處, 得第六名應該就是overplay這個原因, 否則必入三甲.
5. Same Script, Different Cast - 2000
與新晉巨肺Deborah Cox合唱, 兩女的爭仔歌會the boy is mine, 這首卻是Whitney扮演deborah現任的ex-gf, 苦口婆心勸Deborah小心被現任傷害. 很drama, 這句Same Script, Different Cast很正.
4. One Moment In Time - 1988
為88年漢城奧運會而作的主題曲, 一般這類歌都比較老土cheesy, 其實這首歌都是這樣, 不過whitney唱得很動聽, 特別是最尾一句的I Will Be Free, 厲害.
3. I Have Nothing - 1992
又是bodyguard, 又是典型big ballad, 但會有幾個唔鍾意呢首歌? 又是最尾chorus來個升key, 邊個唔係聽到目定口呆, 拍爛手掌?
2. I'm Every Woman - 1992
對, bodyguard又有歌入圍, 另一首無得彈的remake, 編曲很有心思.
1. Saving All My Love For You - 1985
翻查紀錄, 原來這也是remake, 原唱者在78年出版過, 但唔hit, 由whitney經手即變成她其中一首signature song. 但這種作法已成為歷史, 皆因早幾年現場聽whitney演繹此曲, 已到了慘不忍聽的地步. 一切都只成追憶...

Everytime I listen to "I Learned From The Best", I have to wonder if the lyricst got his/her inspiration from the movie
